By examining the collaborative role of sustainability, both historical and contemporaneous social and political issues are linked in a presentation covering the gallery's program in depth. Works by Amoako Boafo, Lenz Geerk, Jeffrey Gibson, Evan Nesbit, Collins Obijiaku, Suchitra Mattai, Mia Middleton, Wendy Red Star, Otis Kwame Kye Quaicoe, Betye Saar, Reginald Sylvester II, Kehinde Wiley and Justin Williams explore topics including the spaces between personal and political realms, and how this distinction can render each too important and not important enough; the fragile, yet nuanced position of the individual within the community at large; and finally, the cultivation of action and hope, across the long-term.
Roberts Projects booth is located at 308.
